Global Reach Rx was founded and open for business since 2014 with an ambitious goal to serve others. The company was founded by two professionals with a heart for people and a clear vision of being the pioneers in providing a concierge benefit management service all around the world.
Considering the vast experience they were bringing to the organization, and their passion of taking care of the lives in need, the company has been leveraged to now serve millions of lives throughout US, Latin America, the Caribbean and Europe.
Now the growth is noticeable as we are Global Reach Health Systems Group, a holding company of a diversity healthcare corporations that serves as a multi-disciplinary platform providing seamless cross border healthcare solutions to all our clients and business partners.
We have tailored our growth strategy for our business and customers based on their individual needs. We aim to always keep our patients, clients and business partners happy as we continuously strive to fulfill their wants and needs, which keeps our growth and success healthy and profitable.
Our success have been built on high caliber relationships as our philosophy will always remain to be caring for people and being the change we want to see in this world. What once was “we are a team”, has now become “we are here for the world”.

2001-2011
Our Beginning
American Drug Express, a Florida licensed pharmacy, was opened in 2001 by Wayne Talamas, pharmacist, to serve the needs of international patients in need of medication unavailable in their home country. In 2003, Sergio Ruiz, certified pharmacy technician, joined the company. In 2007, the pharmacy changed its name to Chroniscript, a specialty pharmacy, to serve the needs of chronic disease state patients in South Florida and around the world in areas of organ transplant, hematology and oncology, HIV, immunology, and rare diseases to name a few. Strategically located in South Florida, Chroniscript served internationally insured patients from around the world while developing relationships with their insurance carriers and government payors.

2011
Stepping Towards Success
Chroniscript was acquired by Walgreens, a national pharmacy chain, and was renamed Chroniscript, a Walgreens company. Wayne Talamas and Sergio Ruiz remained with Walgreens for 2 and 3 years, respectively, for a seamless transition. In Mr. Ruiz’s 3 years with Walgreens he was charged with the task to expand Walgreens transplant program nationwide.

A Big Day
Global Reach Rx, founded in 2014 by Sergio Ruiz and Wayne Talamas, became the initial innovative and driving force division of the group with a clear vision of pioneering concierge pharmacy benefit management service around the world for international payors. The main goal was to close the cross-border health benefit circle with seamless transition of care for our client’s members worldwide whether travelling or working abroad.

Becoming a Holding Company
In 2018, with substantial growth seen in Global Reach Rx and noticeable need from our clients, Global Reach Health Systems Group Inc. was founded as a holding company for a diversity of healthcare related corporations formed to serve as a multi-disciplinary platform to provide seamless and cross border healthcare solutions for our clients and business partners around the globe.
